OK... so I have a lot of explaining to do.
But first I'll come right and address the elephant in the room - I'm sorry for neglecting my duties here at BristolChannelCutter.org
The last 2 years have been incredibly challenging throughout the world, and if you have your health, then I guess we have no right to grumble - considering what has happened (and is happening) throughout the globe.
But I wanted to acknowledge that the site has suffered with only new boats being added, and no articles for a while.
As some of you may know I have heaps going on in my life, and I really struggle to find free time to even be on Ubique at the moment, let alone update the site.
But as the photo attached to this article shows, when you climb on board and cast off the lines something magical happens - even if there's no wind.
Most of you will know what I'm talking about... the complete disconnection with time, the appreciation of the sights, sounds and smells of the world around you - and most importantly, the chance to think.
So Meesh and I are trying to make some changes around here so we can recouperate and rejuvenate using our wonderful boat.
With the Australian Wooden Boat Festival just 3 months away, we are starting to get ourselves in gear - but more on that later!
OK... I'm off to write some more articles!
